Dr. Joseph R. Ambrose is a highly qualified healthcare professional with extensive experience in chiropractic care, nursing, and family medicine. He holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College – West and advanced nursing degrees, including a Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner from United States University. With over 30 years of clinical experience, Dr. Ambrose has managed and treated approximately 12,000 spinal trauma cases and served in various capacities, including IME for multiple organizations since 1991. He has extensive med-legal experience, including numerous legal depositions, arbitrations, and expert witness testimonies in Superior Court trials. Dr. Ambrose also specializes in Functional Capacity Evaluations, using J-Tech Medical Protocols. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Ambrose has served as a staff chiropractic physician at MD Stat Urgent Care Centers and Sacramento Occupational Medical Group, Inc., and held leadership roles, including being a Board Examiner for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
