Description
Dr. Sean Leoni is a board-certified internal medicine physician and Qualified Medical Evaluator with nearly three decades of clinical and medicolegal experience. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine internship at Kern Medical Center in association with UCLA, where he was named Intern of the Year.
Since becoming a QME in 1996 and an Agreed Medical Evaluator in 2011, Dr. Leoni has performed thousands of evaluations across workers’ compensation, disability, and pension systems. His experience includes conducting IME, AME, and SIBTF assessments, with a reputation for thorough, objective, and evidence-based reporting.
In addition to his evaluation practice, Dr. Leoni has served as a Railroad Retirement Disability Evaluator since 1997 and as a Compensation and Pension Examiner for the Department of Veterans Affairs since 1998. He continues to provide patient care through Oxnard Valley Medical Group while maintaining multiple clinic locations across Encino, Glendora, Oxnard, and Palmdale.
