Valerie Johnson, DC

Dr. Valerie Johnson, DC, DABCI, DACBN is a California-licensed chiropractor with more than 36 years of clinical experience, including 20 years of service within the Veterans Health Administration. Her background includes the evaluation and treatment of spine and neuromusculoskeletal conditions, pain management, interdisciplinary care, and extensive medical record review.

Dr. Johnson spent much of her career at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, where she served as Lead Chiropractor, Supervisor of Chiropractic Services, and Chiropractic Residency Program Director. She was the first chiropractor hired within the VA healthcare system in California and helped establish chiropractic services at VA Greater Los Angeles.

She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and holds Diplomate credentials with both the American Board of Chiropractic Internists and the American Clinical Board of Nutrition. Dr. Johnson also brings prior workers’ compensation experience involving injured-worker treatment, medical and narrative reporting, attorney and claims communication, WCAB appearances, and deposition participation.
