Description
Dr. Brandon Hirsch is a board-certified orthopaedic spine surgeon and Qualified Medical Evaluator with extensive expertise in complex spinal disorders, minimally invasive techniques, and medicolegal evaluations. He earned his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. He then pursued dual fellowships in Spine Surgery at New York University’s Hospital for Joint Diseases and Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
Dr. Hirsch has held faculty appointments with the University of Arizona School of Medicine and currently practices at DISC Sports and Spine Center in Newport Beach, California. He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals, contributed to book chapters, and presented at national and international spine surgery meetings. His work has been recognized with research awards and leadership roles in professional societies, including the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery.
Through Sharp Medical Evaluators, Dr. Hirsch provides Qualified Medical Evaluations and has extensive experience performing IME, AME, and SIBTF assessments. His combination of surgical expertise, academic involvement, and medicolegal experience ensures clear, evidence-based, and objective evaluations for attorney and their clients.
