Description
Dr. Daniel Davis is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine and extensive experience in both clinical practice and medicolegal evaluations. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Food Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and his Doctor of Medicine from Loyola University’s Stritch School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He went on to complete his orthopaedic surgery residency at LAC+USC Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident, followed by fellowship training in Knee & Sports Medicine at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego.
Dr. Davis has practiced in Simi Valley for more than two decades, where he currently serves as a partner at Ventura Orthopedic and Sports Medical Group and as Medical Director of the Orthopaedic Department at Adventist Health Simi Valley. His hospital affiliations include Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center, Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital, Aspen Surgery Center, and Adventist Health Simi Valley. In addition to his surgical practice, he has contributed to orthopaedic research, published in leading journals, and served as a faculty instructor with the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
Through Sharp Medical Evaluators, Dr. Davis performs Qualified Medical Evaluations as well as IME, AME, and SIBTF evaluations. His surgical expertise, leadership experience, and evidence-based approach ensure clear, objective, and reliable assessments in complex medicolegal cases.
