Daniel Zaghi, MD

Dr. Daniel Zaghi is a board-certified dermatologist and Qualified Medical Evaluator recognized as one of Los Angeles Magazine’s Top Dermatologists. He earned his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and completed a Master’s in Clinical Investigation at the University of Utah, where he trained extensively in epidemiology, biostatistics, and clinical trial design.

In full-time practice since 2015, Dr. Zaghi specializes in both complex medical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology. He has extensive experience treating conditions such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, vitiligo, pemphigus, and alopecia areata, and is also well-versed in the use of advanced energy-based devices for aesthetic care. His research contributions and presentations have been recognized nationally, and he is regarded as a key opinion leader in inflammatory skin diseases.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Zaghi consults for investment groups and serves as an expert reviewer for the Medical Board of California. He is actively involved in medicolegal work, providing case reviews, depositions, and expert testimony. As a Qualified Medical Evaluator with Sharp Medical Evaluators, Dr. Zaghi applies his medical expertise and research background to deliver objective, evidence-based assessments in workers’ compensation and medicolegal cases.
