Edgar Chang, DC

Dr. Edgar Chang is an experienced chiropractor with over 20 years in clinical practice and multidisciplinary medical leadership. He earned both his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles.

Dr. Chang is the CEO of Advanced Chiropractic Therapy in Buena Park and Torrance, where he leads an integrative team of chiropractors and acupuncturists. He also serves as CFO/COO of Vitality Medical Institute, a multidisciplinary medical group. His expertise spans a wide range of chiropractic techniques and modalities, including spinal decompression therapy, manipulation under anesthesia, rehabilitation, and advanced therapies such as cold laser and shockwave treatment.

Certified in workers’ compensation evaluation, disability assessment, and DOT examinations, Dr. Chang brings specialized knowledge to med-legal reporting and injury evaluation. He has held hospital and surgery center privileges, reinforcing his collaborative approach across medical disciplines. Licensed in California, Hawaii, and Texas, he is a member of both the American and California Chiropractic Associations, where he served as Vice President of the CCA-LOSW from 2015–2016.

Dr. Chang now offers Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) services with Sharp Medical Evaluators, where his extensive clinical and administrative background enhances his ability to provide thorough, evidence-based evaluations in workers’ compensation and related cases.
