Jorge Balares III, DC

Dr. Jorge Balares is a Doctor of Chiropractic, Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME), and retired Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sergeant with over two decades of combined experience in healthcare, public safety, and leadership. Based in San Dimas, California, Dr. Balares provides comprehensive chiropractic and rehabilitative care, with a focus on primary care, industrial injury evaluation, and sports medicine.

He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles and is currently completing a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Southern California University of Health Sciences. He also holds an Executive Juris Doctor from William Howard Taft University and has completed advanced certifications in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasonography, acupuncture, and minor surgery.

Dr. Balares’ background in both medicine and law enforcement brings a unique perspective to his med-legal practice, combining clinical precision with investigative insight. He is also a certified Krav Maga instructor, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu professor, and former emergency medical technician.
