Description
Dr. Judith Mondry-Berk is a board-certified psychiatrist with over four decades of experience providing comprehensive psychiatric care for adults, adolescents, and children across clinical, academic, and forensic settings. She is dual board-certified in General Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and became a California Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) in April 2025.
Based in Pasadena and Sherman Oaks, Dr. Mondry-Berk has maintained a long-standing private practice while serving in numerous leadership and teaching roles. She previously served as Ward Chief for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit at LAC-USC Medical Center, where she supervised residents, fellows, and medical students and managed inpatient psychiatric services.
Dr. Mondry-Berk’s background includes extensive consulting experience with institutions such as the California Department of Corrections, City of Hope Medical Center, and the Mental Health Association of Los Angeles. She has also provided forensic psychiatric evaluations and expert testimony for social security and custody cases.
Her clinical approach integrates psychodynamic principles, psychoanalytic training, and advanced psychopharmacology to deliver individualized, evidence-based care. Dr. Mondry-Berk remains dedicated to advancing the field through teaching, clinical leadership, and now through her med-legal work as a QME.
