Dr. Justin Shu Yang is a highly accomplished orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, shoulder and knee injuries, and advanced surgical techniques. Based in Los Angeles, California, he has been serving as an Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Surgeon with SCPMG since 2015. Dr. Yang also holds an academic appointment as an Associate Professor of Orthopaedics at the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine and serves as a reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine.
Dr. Yang earned his Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering, graduating cum laude from Rice University, and his Doctor of Medicine from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Washington University in St. Louis, followed by a prestigious Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Connecticut.
