Description
Dr. Mark Wolgin is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in both spine surgery and foot and ankle surgery. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and his Doctor of Medicine from UCLA before completing his orthopaedic surgery residency at Harbor–UCLA Medical Center. He went on to complete subspecialty fellowships in Spine Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and in Foot and Ankle Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Wolgin has practiced orthopaedic surgery for more than three decades, with experience across California, Nevada, Mississippi, and Georgia. Since 2006, he has been in practice at Orthopaedic Associates in Albany, Georgia, where he focuses on spinal disorders, foot and ankle conditions, and general orthopaedics. He holds active hospital privileges at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and Phoebe North and has previously practiced at institutions including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Scripps Memorial La Jolla.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Wolgin has contributed to orthopaedic research and education, presenting on spine surgery, minimally invasive techniques, and foot and ankle disorders. He has also published peer-reviewed work on fracture management and orthopaedic biomechanics.
