Natasha Trentacosta, MD

Dr. Natasha Trentacosta is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and pediatric orthopaedics. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Brown University and her Doctor of

Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She went on to complete her orthopaedic surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center, followed by dual fellowships in Sports Medicine at Santa Monica Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Group and in Pediatric Sports Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Trentacosta is a faculty member at the Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute, where she provides care for athletes of all ages and serves as a team physician for Angel City Football Club, LA Galaxy, Pepperdine University, and multiple high schools in the Los Angeles area. She has published widely in peer-reviewed journals, contributed to textbook chapters on pediatric and sports-related injuries, and presented nationally and internationally on ACL reconstruction, cartilage restoration, and injury prevention in young athletes.

Her leadership roles include serving on research committees for the Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine Society (PRiSM), the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and as a reviewer for The American Journal of Sports Medicine. She has also been recognized with the PRiSM Mininder Kocher Award for Most Promising Career and named a Southern California “Rising Star” in orthopaedics.
