Dr. Gilak is an accomplished healthcare professional and leader with over 18 years of experience in the field. As the Physician Director at Applied Chiropractic in Newport Beach since 2006, Dr. Gilak has successfully managed practice operations, staff training, patient care, diagnostic work, and treatment plan development. She also serves as Clinical Faculty at Southern California University of Health & Sciences and an Expert Examiner for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.​

Dr. Gilak holds a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine, a Doctor of Chiropractic, and a Bachelor’s degree in Cellular Biology. She is certified by the California State Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Division of Worker’s Compensation Medical Unit.​ Her professional affiliations include the American Chiropractic Association, World Spine Care Organization, and the Latin American Chiropractic Association, where she served as President. Dr. Gilak is dedicated to advancing chiropractic care through teaching, research, and community involvement.​
