Dr. Muffly is a distinguished orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine with extensive expertise in shoulder, hip, and knee arthroscopy, cartilage restoration techniques, and robotic-assisted surgeries.

He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Chemistry and earned his Doctor of Medicine from Jefferson Medical College. Dr. Muffly completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Allegheny General Hospital, followed by a fellowship in orthopedic surgery sports medicine at the Kerlan-Jobe Institute, Cedars-Sinai. He has served as an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center since 2018, where he is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine.
