Dr. Hose Kim, M.D., is a highly experienced board-certified orthopedic surgeon and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. With a medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia and dual B.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biology from MIT, Dr. Kim has been serving the Whittier, CA community in private practice since 1991. His practice focuses on comprehensive general orthopedic care, including sports medicine, arthritic joints, foot and ankle problems, and spinal injuries. Dr. Kim completed his orthopedic surgery residency at L.A. County-USC Medical Center and a prestigious Foot and Ankle Surgery Fellowship at the Wagner Institute under Dr. William Wagner, a leading authority in the field. He has also gained extensive experience in treating diabetes-related foot problems and has served as a consultant in wound care programs. A QME for the State of California, Dr. Kim has contributed significantly to orthopedic research, with multiple published works and presentations on topics such as retrocalcaneal bursitis, hip instability in cerebral palsy, and spinal fractures. He is actively involved in the professional community, holding memberships in the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, California Orthopaedic Association, and other esteemed organizations.
