Komal Dhingsa, MD

Dr. Komal Dhingsa is a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist and Qualified Medical Evaluator with extensive experience in musculoskeletal, spine, and neurological conditions. She earned her medical degree from Chicago Medical School, along with a Master of Science in Applied Physiology, and completed her residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at UCLA/VA Greater Los Angeles, training across Cedars-Sinai, Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

Dr. Dhingsa has served in both private practice and large medical group settings, including nearly a decade with Southern California Permanente Medical Group, where she managed complex musculoskeletal and pain conditions, performed EMG and nerve conduction studies, soft tissue and joint injections, prosthetic evaluations, and coordinated interventional pain treatments. She later held leadership roles as Medical Director of Clinical Operations with AIM Specialty Health (Anthem), where she provided medical review for interventional pain and musculoskeletal procedures.

Her current practice focuses on occupational medicine and med-legal evaluations, with extensive experience performing EMG/NCS studies, treating personal injury and workers’ compensation cases, and managing complex rehabilitation needs.
