Description
Dr. Margaret “Megie” Shean, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist and board-eligible neuropsychologist specializing in trauma, brain injury, and complex neurological conditions. She is a Qualified Medical Examiner (QME) in California and provides comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for a wide range of medical-legal cases.
Dr. Shean earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University and completed an APA-accredited internship at Vanderbilt University. She went on to complete her postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA’s Semel Institute, where she served veterans and active duty service members through the nationally recognized Operation Mend program.
She currently holds a faculty appointment as a Health Sciences Clinical Instructor at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and supervises postdoctoral trainees in neuropsychology. Her clinical expertise includes multicultural assessment, cognitive rehabilitation, and trauma-informed assessment.
Dr. Shean is known for her clear, compassionate approach and her dedication to delivering scientifically grounded, patient-centered evaluations that support both recovery and clarity in the med-legal process.
